War Table and Relation Builder
Explore the campaign as a connected graph and build relationships in a focused workspace.

Explore the War Table
- Open War Table from the campaign sidebar.
- Search for an entity or filter the graph by entity type to reduce visual noise.
- Select a node to review its summary and immediate relationships.
- Use zoom, fit-to-screen, and re-run layout controls when the graph becomes crowded.
- Open an entity from its detail panel when you need to edit the underlying record.
Best practice
Use the War Table to find missing or surprising connections. Keep authoritative facts on the entities and relationships themselves.
Use the Relation Builder
- Open Relation Builder from the campaign sidebar.
- Choose or filter the source and target entity lists.
- Select two entities and choose a compatible relationship type.
- Add context when the label alone does not explain the connection.
- Save the relationship, then continue building without leaving the workspace.
Important
Deleting a relationship removes that explicit connection from both entities. It does not delete either entity or mentions written in notes.
