Keyboard and editor shortcuts
- Press Ctrl/Cmd + K or / outside an editor to open campaign search.
- Press N in the GM workspace to start or resume a new entity draft.
- Type @ in rich notes to search for and mention an entity.
- Type #today followed by punctuation or a space in a calendar-enabled rich editor to insert the current world date.
- Press Escape while editing an inline field to discard that unsaved inline change.
A field did not save or shows stale content
- Wait for the field save indicator to finish before navigating away.
- If a stale banner appears, compare the current value with the newer saved value.
- Refresh only after preserving any text that is still unsaved.
- During read-only maintenance, keep local draft text but expect writes to remain unavailable until maintenance ends.
A player cannot find shared content
- Confirm the player membership is active and assigned to the expected group.
- Confirm the entity has an audience: all players, the player group, or the individual player.
- Confirm at least one content area such as summary, notes, portrait, metadata, or a custom field is shared.
- Use View as Player and check both the entity list and search.
An OBS source is blank or stale
- Confirm OBS integration is enabled for the campaign.
- Copy the browser-source URL again after rotating a key.
- Confirm the selected layout contains widgets and preview it inside Tapestry.
- For initiative, confirm an encounter is active and exposed.
- For maps, confirm a map is currently cast and the intended pins are marked stream-safe.
- Refresh the OBS browser source after changing its URL or key.
